There has been a great hype for the game everywhere. The game hit millions of downloads in just one week of its launch. It has also bagged a big revenue of $4.8 million.
Apex Legends Mobile Revenue :
According to a report by Sensor Tower, Apex Legends Mobile has generated about $4.8 million in 1 week. This revenue came from player spending alone.
Although the game is free-to-play, it contains in-game purchases. Players can upgrade the Battle Pass to gain more rewards, skins and legends.
To put this in context, PUBG Mobile generated only $600,000 in its first week following its 2018 launch, whereas Call of Duty Mobile generated a whopping $14.8 million in the week following its 2019 launch.
Apex Mobile, on the other hand, brings a lot to the table, including some serious cash.
Both mobile games have since generated billions of dollars in revenue from player spending in the years since their release.
Apex Legends’ console/PC version has now made $2 billion in revenue since its launch in early 2019, and according to this week’s Sensor Tower data, the mobile version of the popular hero-shooter could eventually surpass the original version of the game in terms of revenue from player purchases.
Out of the total revenue from player spending, 44% of the revenue came from the US ($2.8 million).
