After a successful run on PCs and consoles, Battlefield is now coming to mobile devices. Battlefield Mobile is under development by Battlefield’s developer DICE, and Industrial Toys working closely, which are both owned by Electronic Arts.
The general manager of DICE, Oskar Gabrielson said, “Make no mistake, this is a standalone game,” in a blog posted on EA.com. Further he mentioned that Battlefield Mobile will be a completely different game from Console and PC designed versions.
According to Oskar Gabrielson, the developers are working closely, “to make Battlefield-on-the-go a reality and you can expect a fully-fledged, skill-based experience. “He further mentioned that the game is entering a testing period, and we should expect more details soon.
The Mobile gaming industry is on rise, and it is mostly occupied by games like PUBG Mobile, COD Mobile and Freefire. Recently, EA announced that Apex Legends will start its beta testing this quarter. It was no surprise that Battlefield will enter the mobile gaming industry as well.
With a bright Future of Esports in India, we can expect that India could be the primary beta testing region for Battlefield launching next year.
