BGIS Details : Date, Format, Rules and Many More

BGIS Details are here. Starting the tournament in December 2021, Krafton has revealed the qualifier rounds’ dates, format, and the rules. 

The first round of qualifiers begin on December 4, therefore it is an important month for all the new teams. 


All the teams will play 15 matches, out of which the best 10 will be considered. The in-game qualifiers begin on December 4 and end on decem  

  • 4-8 December :- In-game qualifiers 
  • 16-30 December :- Online Qualifiers

However, the online qualifiers have 3 rounds. In the third round, 224 teams and the 32 invited teams will fight. Surprisingly, this third round will have only 3 matches, which makes things difficult.

Only the teams with the best performance in these 3 matches can go ahead.

Krafton will invite 32 teams to the tournament. In contrast, they announced practice scrims “The Grind” with some of the top teams.

  16. Marcos Gaming
  17. Velocity Gaming
  18. Team Xo
  19. 7seas Esports
  20. Orangutan Gaming
  21. OR Esports
  22. Team 8Bit
  23. Reckoning Esports
  24. Revenant Esports
  25. Rivalry Esports
  26. Skylights Gaming
  27. Nigma Galaxy

Moreover, these Scrims will be played in December. The following are the dates –

  • 2nd to 5th December
  • 9th to 12th December

Also, note that these teams will play the scrims. Krafton will announce the invited teams soon.


BGIS has certain rules, and teams must stick to them. The following are the rules everyone has to follow –

  1. Every player has to register their team through the official website.
  2. However, only registered players can play from that particular team. If any other player plays, then the team will be disqualified.
  3. Also, the players who are in the age group of 16-17 years have to take their parent or guardian’s consent. 


Battlegrounds Mobile India Series has a prize pool of Rs 1 Crore. In contrast, the champions will receive the lion’s share of Rs 50,00,000.  

  1. First Place – 50,00,000 INR
  2. Second – 25,00,000 INR
  3. Third – 10,00,000 INR 
  4. Fourth – 3,00,000 INR
  5. Fifth – 2,00,000 INR

To sum up, the hype for the tournament is high for the event. The tournament is going to be thrilling. Krafron will reveal more BGIS details in the coming days.
