Nodwin Gaming announces DreamHack Hyderabad

NODWIN Gaming is bringing DreamHack Hyderabad in November this year. 

The international gaming event will take place in Hyderabad, India, taking place from the 4th to the 6th of November this year. The venue for the event is Halls 1 and 3 of the Hitex Exhibition Centre at Hitech City. The goal of the event is to gather gamers, esports fans, and professional players under one roof.

DreamHack Hyderabad Event Details

A unique aspect of DreamHack, bring your own computer (BYOC), events is making a comeback. Even in this day and age of online competitions, LAN events still have a certain allure. Players are welcome to attend the event with their own devices or computers and take part in it. According to Twin Galaxies and the Guinness Book of World Records, DreamHack is the biggest LAN party and computer festival in the entire world.

We can expect a lot more announcements in the future. The community will be glad to resume these sizable gaming events because COVID-19 has made LAN gatherings increasingly rare in recent years. Nodwin Gaming has not yet revealed everything about the tournament.

In the press release, Akshat Rathee,  the Co-Founder and Managing Director at NODWIN Gaming, stated that DreamHack is more than simply a gaming event; it’s a festival where the gaming community can get together, have fun, reconnect with old friends, play the games they love, and watch.

He said, “the community has been waiting to come together again and experience DreamHack like never before, and this edition in Hyderabad promises to do the same. It is going to be 3 long days of endless fun.”

Further, he added, “He added, “DreamHack being synonymous with everything digital, it’s sure to provide a fun and entertaining weekend for the people of Telangana.”

Dreamhack events took place in 2018 and 2019 in India, but the 2021 event was cancelled amidst the global pandemic. The 2021 event was set to have a prize pool of USD 100,000, and DreamHack Hyderabad is expected to be just as massive.
