About ESL Pro League Season 14:
Of these 24 teams, 12 playing teams are ESL Partners, seven teams are qualified through ESL World Ranking, and five teams have earned a slot for them through ESEA Premier Europe, Oceania, and North America.
This tournament will be completely played online from Europe due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Fan-favorite teams like NaVi, Gambit, G2, Astralis, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Vitality, and more will also play in this tournament.
The winners of each group will qualify for the quarter-finals, whereas the runner-ups and third-placed teams will advance to the first round of playoffs. All matches will be best-of-three series except the Grand Finals, which will be a best-of-five series.
All four groups will play separately. Teams in Group A will play their matches from the 16th to the 20th of August. Moreover, teams from Group B will play their matches from the 21st to the 26th of August. Teams from Group C will play their matches from the 27th to 31st of August, whereas teams from Group D will play their matches from the 1st to the 5th of September.
Since the IEM Cologne grand finals where Navi defeated G2, this tournament will be the first tournament where tier one teams will compete. Moreover, in ESL Pro League Season 14, many teams will be debuting new players. Nonetheless, we expect to see many roster changes before the tournament commences.
