A total of nine esports games have been nominated for the Esports Mobile Game of the Year award. Following are all the nominated games:
- PUBG Mobile (Battle Royale)
- League of Legends: Wild Rift (MOBA)
- Free Fire (Battle Royale)
- Pokemon Unite (MOBA)
- Arena of Valor (MOBA)
- Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MOBA)
- COD Mobile (Battle Royale)
- Brawl Stars (MOBA)
The nomination for the award is quite the same as last year; only Pokemon Unite has replaced Clash Royale. Although Pokemon Unite is a relatively new game, it has soon gained a lot of popularity in the last year.
Out of all the nominations, three games are battle royale games, whereas the other five games are Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games. It clearly shows how popular Battle Royale and MOBA games are in the Esports sector.
The nominated games have had a big Esports circuit with massive prize pools throughout this year. However, this year, Pokemon Unite and League of Legends: Wild Rift have seen an enormous spike in Esports audience. On the other hand, PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Free Fire also had massive viewership like every year.
