Gaming Masters 2.0 : BGMI Tournament Announced by JioGames

Jio and MediaTek announced Gaming Masters 2.0, a BGMI esports tournament. Everyone can participate in the event via JioGames.

It is another big esports tournament of BGMI. The event will be live streamed on JioGames Watch, JioTV HD Esports Channel, Facebook Gaming, and JioGames’ official YouTube Channel.

Gaming Masters 2.0 :

The first season, Gaming Masters, was a successful esports event. In that, Free Fire was played. Over 14,000 teams participated in the event. 

Therefore, now JioGames is hosting Gaming Masters 2.0 with a prize pool of  12,50,000 INR. 

Moreover, the tournament begins on November 23, 2021 and concludes on January 10, 2022.  

Also, both jio users and non jio users can register and participate through the JioGames app.

Schedule for Gaming Masters 2.0 :

The event has four Qualifier rounds across various states. Moreover, there are no invited teams. Therefore it is a great opportunity for players. 

Therefore, players who wish to participate must register as soon as possible. 

The following are the dates for the event –

  • 23 – 27 November 2021 : Qualifier 1
  • 30 November – 4 December 2021 : Qualifier 2
  • 7 – 11 December 2021 : Qualifier 3
  • 14 – December 2021 : Qualifier 4
  • 21 December – Road to Finale

Consequently, 5 teams will qualify from each qualifier round. In addition, they will get their slots in the ‘Road to Finale’.

Qualifying Rounds:

  1. First Round
  • 20 Teams
  • Set of two maps – Erangel and Sanhok
  1. Second Round
  • 16 Teams
  • Maps – Miramar and Erangel
  1. Third  Round
  • 20 Teams
  • Maps – Erangel, Sanhok, Miramar, Sanhok, Erangel
  • Top 5 teams move to ‘Road to Finale’.
  1. Fourth Round
  • 20 Teams
  • Five maps – Erangel, Sanhok, Miramar, Sanhok, Erangel
  • Top 6 teams move to ‘Road to Finale’.

Prize Pool:

  1. Community Tournament Prize Pool – INR 7,68,000
  2. Road to Finale Prize Pool – INR 82,000
  3. Grand Finale Prize Pool – INR 4,00,000

However, the following states cannot participate due to State Rules –

  • Telangana
  • Kerala
  • Andhra Pradesh
  • Assam
  • Odisha
  • Nagaland
  • Sikkim
  • Arunachal Pradesh
