Global Esports Signs ‘Eraser’ as their New Valorant Coach

Global Esports has announced its new Valorant coach. Mr Hong ‘Eraser’ Chang-pyo will now train GE for the upcoming championships. 

Hong “Eraser” Chang-pyo is a coach from South Korea. Before coaching Valorant teams, he was a professional Fortnite player. 

He also trained the famous Valorant Team – Damwon Gaming. 

Global Esports in VCT :

Global Esports gave their best in the VCT APAC Challengers. However, it wasn’t enough. The matches didn’t go well and GE could not qualify for Masters 1.

But VCT is not over yet. There’s still a chance of creating an amazing show at stage 2.  VCT APAC Challengers 2 will be live in June 2022.

‘Eraser’ will play an important role in GE’s strategies and gameplay. He is another ray of hope for them. Training by ‘Eraser’ would help Global Esports in moving ahead in VCT. 

All those teams who played at stage 1 will once again fight to reach Masters 2. 

VCT Masters 2 will be live in July 2022 in which 2 slots are fixed for the APAC region. 

About ‘Eraser’ :

Chang-Pyo coached aNg DarkHorse for two months before joining Damwon Gaming in 2020. From January 2021 to March 2022, he was the team’s coach. In 2020-21, he achieved the following with the team –

  1. Valorant First Strike Korea – 3rd-4th finish
  2. VCT Korea Stage 1 Challengers 1 – top 2 finish 
  3. VCT Korea Stage 1 Challengers 3 – top 2 finish
  4. Korea Stage 2 Challengers – 7th-8th
  5. VCT Stage 1 Masters – 3rd-4th finish

Global Esports is known for its terrific comebacks. They can handle any situation and have the capacity to win a match, even if it seems like they are losing it. 

It is time for their comeback at the global stage. They will surely come back stronger. Also, let’s not forget that they have made India proud and keep cheering for India.
