Riot Games has finally introduced Riot Client, a common client for all their games. It will help to enhance players’ experience in multiple games.
Riot has developed five games, namely League of Legends, League of Runeterra, Valorant, Wild Rift and Teamfight Tactics. This single Client will be common, and it will work for all games. Moreover, the goal of this common Client is to improve the experience of all the players.
Riot Client: Uses, Release date and more
Currently, players have to manually open games from their desktop if they want to switch between different games. This Client is introduced to make navigation between games efficient. It will allow access to all Games from Riot in one place
Bradford Barett, the PO of Riot Client, said, “We wanted to develop a client that would give you the best experience possible and get you into your favorite desktop game quickly while also giving you the opportunity to explore all of what Riot has to offer.”
The will release on the 20th of September, 2021. Moreover, it will be completely stable before the worldwide launch on the 4th of October. However, Riot Games mentioned that the worldwide might delay if they feel that the Client needs some changes.
Besides being a library, all the games from Riot will have their product page with relevant content. The Client will show event details, news and cinematic backgrounds on the product page. Nonetheless, it will also give the players option to scroll through all the games in the library.
Moreover, after the Client’s launch, players will get an option to select whether to clean their desktop by getting one platform to access all the games or get a shortcut of all the games on the desktop. This is a good step from Riot to make the player experience more efficient. However, we still have to wait a little longer for the stable Riot Client release.
