Riot Mobile App will replace the existing League+ app this year. Riot Games officially announced that this app will work on Mobiles for their games like LoL, Valorant, Wild Rift, Teamfight Tactics, and Legends of Runeterra.
The main reason to launch this new app is that Riot wants to put all features in a single app. In addition, it is better to have a single app, rather than making a companion app for each game.
About Riot Mobile App:
The Riot Mobile App launches on October 4, 2021. In contrast, the existing League+ app will upgrade itself to the Riot Mobile App automatically.
The app will launch on both, Android and iOS.

- Chat with friends both Cross-Game & Cross-Region
- Quick Paths to Search for Friends & Start Conversations
All of these are part of the 1.0 edition of Riot Mobile. Players who just play one or two of Riot’s games will be able to filter out those they aren’t interested in.
Riot intends to improve esports, match history, and player security features in the future.
Riot stated it intended to expand its mobile companion in reaction to the tremendous growth of its other games outside of League+.
League+: What’s Next?
League+ was first introduced in 2016 on the Apple and Google app stores. It gives players League news, videos and in-game chat tools.

Besides all this, the League+ app will be rebranded. They will announce its new name when it is closer to the launch.
