S1mple Conveys a Heartfelt Message for Ukraine Russia Peace at IEM Katowise

Famous CSGO player S1mple recently spoke on the difficult conditions between Ukraine and Russia. He gave a powerful message at IEM Katowise.

IEM Katowise is an international CSGO event hosted by ESL Gaming

The team took the stage to accept their Intel Grand Slam trophy. It is a prestigious award given to the first team to win four Major events out of a pool of ten over the course of a year. 

NaVi won the trophy in 2021 and finally received it on 25 February. Meanwhile, S1mple took the mic from the host to deliver a message to everyone around the world. 

S1mple’s Message :

“Esports is out of politics and all our players, all players from different teams and all of you have nothing to do with government decisions. 

My whole career I’ve played with Ukrainian players I’ve played with Russian players and I’ve played with American players. And all of them, great guys. And right now I stay with my friends.”

Despite the war conditions, all esports players stand together as a team and as friends. This gave a positive message for everyone. Everyone at the venue was wonderstruck, listening to his words.

“We win together and we lose together and all of us want peace for Ukraine and for the whole world. All of us are scared and all of us need to show example on this tournament for the whole world. 

We need to stay together as a unit with our fans, with our friends and with everyone who’s going to watch this tournament. And we all need to stay humans first.” – he added.
