Global Esports to Fight Against Enigma Gaming in the SCS 2022 Grand Finals

Global Esports defeated Orangutan Gaming to qualify for the SCS 2022 Grand Finals. Enigma Gaming and Global Esports will compete against each other for the ultimate title of SCS 2022 champions.

SCS 2022 is India’s first official Valorant LAN event, featuring a prize pool of a whopping USD 30,000. It started on the 19th of May, and it will end on the 5th of June. Furthermore, the two finalists of the event will get a slot in VCT Stage 2 APAC Challengers

SCS 2022 Grand Finals Schedule, Teams, and More

The SCS 2022 Grand Finals is scheduled to take place on the 5th of June at 05:00 pm IST. The two best teams in the South Asian region will fight for the ultimate title and cash prize of USD 15,000. Furthermore, both the finalists will get a slot in VCT Stage 2 APAC Challengers, where they can compete for two slots in VCT Masters Stage 2 against top 20 teams from the APAC region. 

Enigma Gaming defeated Orangutan Gaming in the Upper Bracket Final to qualify for the SCS Grand Finals. On the other hand, Orangutan Gaming had to compete in the Lower Bracket Final after losing in the Upper Bracket Final to qualify for the SCS Grand Finals. However, Orangutan Gaming lost in the Lower Bracket Final against Global Esports and was eliminated. 

After defeating Orangutan Gaming in the Lower Bracket Final, Global Esports will fight against Enigma Gaming in the SCS Grand Finals on the 5th of June.

SCS Lower Bracket Final

SCS Valorant 2022 Lower Bracket Finals took place between Global Esports and Orangutan Gaming. Global Esports defeated Orangutan Gaming with a scoreline of 2-0 for a spot in SCS Grand Finals. Following are the highlights of the SCS Valorant 2022 Lower Bracket Final.

Map Veto: Orangutan Gaming banned Split, and Global Esports banned Icebox in the first ban. Further, Orangutan Gaming picked Ascent in map selection, and Global Esports picked Fracture. Orangutan Gaming banned Haven, and Global Esports banned Breeze in the second ban. The last map, Breeze, was the decider map.

Map No. 1: In the first half of Ascent, Global Esports showed a fantastic performance as defenders for a switch of GE 8-4 OG. Later, Global Esports maintained their performance in the attacking half and won the map with a scoreline of GE 13-8 OG.

Map No. 2: In the first half of Fracture, Global Esports dominated as attackers for a switch of GE 10-2 OG. Global Esports stayed consistent in the defending half and won the map with a scoreline of GE 13-5 OG.

Global Esports and Enigma gaming are among the strongest teams in the South Asian region. Moreover, the competition between them in the SCS 2022 Grand Finals will be quite challenging, and it will be exciting to see which team emerges as the champions.
