TSM Shadow , TSM India Break Silence on the Player Poaching Matter

TSM Shadow and TSM India have replied on the player poaching matter today. As a result, Shadow will play in the upcoming LAN event with another team.

Recently, TSM India revealed that their player Arjun “SHADOW” Mandhalkar was being poached by an esports organisation. However, they haven’t revealed the organisation name.

TSM India wrote –

“Shadow is still contracted to TSM. We have offered to get a loan agreement in place at no charge to all parties so Shadow can play in the LAN event;

However, the org who registered Shadow has not contacted TSM and has done so without TSM’s consent.

Player poaching/tampering is not healthy for the future of BGMI esports. We have reached out to Krafton and have been waiting 5 days for a response.”

Amidst all the speculations and gossip in the community, Shadow gave a message to all his fans on Instagram –

This means Shadow may leave TSM soon. He is still in contract with them, so he may leave, but only after certain legal procedures.

He joined TSM India on 30 July 2021. With grinding hard with the roster, TSM dominated a lot of events in 2021 and 2022. These include the Nodwin X Loco All Stars,  Skyesports Mobile Open and BGIS 2021 (2nd position).

TSM has allowed Shadow to play in Nodwin Gaming’s BGMI Masters Series. It will be a LAN event in Delhi. 24 invited teams will play in the event.

In contrast, it will be a very important event as Nodwin is ready to broadcast it on TV. It will be live on Star Sports 2 from 24 June.

It is still unclear from which team Shadow will play. We may hear an official announcement soon.

In conclusion, player poaching in esports is a severe issue in our community. Such acts from esports organisations really affect athletes’ career in a negative way.
