Valorant agents and economy change coming with Episode 3.

With the upcoming Episode 3, major Valorant agents and economic changes are coming. Moreover, the meta and the economy of Valorant are about to change completely. Besides, the update is just around the corner on the 22nd of June.

This upcoming Episode completely changes the price of abilities of different agents and the price of weapons. Moreover, it will also nerf some agents.

This data is taken from the early access version of the game given to content creators and pro players. Besides, Riot Games haven’t posted the official patch notes for the update yet.

Valorant agents changes

Riot Games has massively changed the ability price and ult points required for the Ultimate ability of many agents. The change will completely change the way the game is currently played, especially with the addition of Kay/O

Following are the agent changes to expect in the coming Episode.

Astra

  • Astral Stars price reduced from 200 > 150 Creds.
  • Astra starts with only one free star (earlier two stars).

Breach

  • Aftershock cost increased from 100 > 200 Creds.
  • Flashpoint cost increased from 200 > 250 Creds.
  • Flashpoint now has 2 (earlier 3).

Brimstone

  • Incendiary cost increased from 200 > 250 Creds.

Jett

  • Cloudburst cost increased from 100 > 200 Creds.
  • Updraft cost increased from 100 > 150 Creds.
  • Blade Storm now requires seven ult points (earlier six).
  • Moreover, now Jett can’t dash through Cypher’s Tripwire.

Omen

  • Shrouded Step cost increased from 100 > 150 Creds.
  • Paranoia cost decreased from 400 > 300 Creds.

Phoenix

  • Curveball cost increased from 100 > 150 Creds.

Reyna

  • Leer cost increased from 200 > 250 Creds.

Raze

  • Boombot cost increased from 200 > 400 Creds.
  • Showstopper now costs eight Ult points (earlier seven).

Sage

  • Slow Orb cost increased from 100 > 200 Creds.
  • Resurrection now requires eight Ult points (earlier seven).

Skye

  • Trailblazer cost increased from 200 > 250 Creds.
  • Guiding Light cost increased from 100 > 150 Creds
  • It has two charges (earlier three).
  • Guiding Light flashes now regenerate after 40s.

Sova

  • Owl Drone cost increased from 300 > 400 Creds.
  • Shock Bolt cost increased from 100 > 150 Creds.
  • Hunter’s Fury now requires eight Ult points (earlier seven).

Viper

  • Snake Bite cost increased from 100 > 200 Creds.

Yoru

  • Blindside cost increased from 200 > 250 Creds.

These were all the Valorant agents changes coming with the upcoming Episode. Besides, Riot Games has not only changed the price of abilities, but they have also changed the price of some weapons.

Weapon price change

Following are the changes in the price of firearms.

  • Shorty: 200 > 150 creds.
  • Frenzy: 500 > 450 creds.
  • Stinger: 1,110 > 950 creds.
  • Bucky: 900 > 850 creds.
  • Judge: 1,600 > 1,850 creds.
  • Bulldog: 2,100 > 2,050 creds.
  • Guardian: 2,400 > 2,250 creds.
  • Marshal: 1,000 > 950 creds.
  • Operator: 5,000 > 4,700 creds.
  • Aries: 1,600 > 1,550 creds.

Riot Games has taken a huge step by changing the price of almost all the abilities and firearms. This change will change the meta of the game from ability-oriented to gunplay-oriented, especially with the addition of Kay/O. Besides, it will be exciting to see how pro teams adapt to these changes.
