The most anticipated mobile game of this year, Valorant Mobile, has finally started its first testing in China. Some screenshots of the game were leaked over the internet, and the community is going haywire about it.
Data miners released the first leak about the mobile game back in May 2021. However, within a month of the first leak, Riot Games officially announced it. Since then, the entire Valorant community and mobile gamers have been anticipating the game.
Valorant Mobile Leaked Screenshots
The screenshots of the mobile version of the game were released on Twitter by some users. These screenshots show the loading screen of the game, homescreen, agent select menu, and the gameplay screen featuring Jett.
The loading screen of the game is similar to the PC version of the game. However, it has a loading bar at the bottom of the screen, which shows the progress.
The game’s homescreen is also similar to the PC version of the game. The lower left side of the screen shows options to microphone on/off, text chat, push to talk, speaker on/off, and more options. Furthermore, the right side of the screen shows in-game friends and features the option to add new friends.
Agent Select Menu
The agent select menu is a brief time period players get to select their agent before the game. Currently, the PC version of Valorant features 18 agents, and however, the mobile version of the game only features seven agents: Jett, Phoenix, Reyna, Breach, Sova, Skye, and Killjoy.
The screenshot of the gameplay screen is taken at the attackers’ spawn in Ascent. This screenshot is taken by a Jett player. It shows all the standard control on the screen’s lower left and right sides. However, all four abilities buttons are located on the top right side of the screen. We can expect the option to change the HUD of the game manually.
One interesting thing to notice about this screenshot is that the Cloudburst ability of Jett has three charges. Jett had three charges for her Cloudburst ability in the PC version of the game, but later in September 2021, Riot Games nerfed the ability to two charges. So, we can speculate that Valorant mobile is based on the older version of the PC game. Furthermore, we also speculate that the game will not support cross-platform gameplay. Also, as of now we have no clue of Valorant Mobile release date.
