Valorant Mumbai server.

Riot Games to solve the instability issue of the Valorant Mumbai server.

If you have recently played with the Valorant Mumbai server, you probably know there are some problems with it. Players are experiencing some instability in the Mumbai server. Moreover, players across India and South Asia had been reporting issues such as high latency and servers going down.

The problem is to such an extent that players had to switch to different servers to play the game. Players have been playing on SEA servers for the past few days to avoid the issues faced in the Mumbai server. However, Riot Games have taken note of this issue.

The developers of Valorant are working to find a solution to the problem. Moreover, the official handle of Valorant India and South Asia posted a tweet regarding this issue.

The tweet reads, “We’re aware of the recent server instability and are at work investigating a root cause. Apologies, we will have updates for you soon.”

Valorant Mumbai server issues faced by players.

Players have been experiencing various issues while playing on the Valorant Mumbai server. These issues include

  • High latency or ping: The ping (or latency) of a player is how fast they can send a command to the game server and have the game server display what happened. Moreover, if the ping is high, the input lag for the game increases.
  • High packet loss: When playing a game, small units of data called packets are sent and received. When one or more of these packets fail to reach their intended destination, packet loss is called packet loss. This packet loss interrupts the gameplay, and players experience network lag.
  • Disconnecting players from the server for some time

These issues are hard to cope with, and they can ruin the gameplay. However, the developers are working to solve these issues. But, the developers haven’t any date, so we don’t know how long it will take to solve the problem.
