Riot Games has finally announced all the details of the VCT 2022 Masters Reykjavik. The championship is just around the corner, and all the players and fans are excited for it.
The championship will start on the 10th and end on the 24th of April. A total of twelve teams coming from eight different regions will compete in this championship for the ultimate title.
VCT 2022 Masters Reykjavik Teams
Following are all the teams qualified for the group stages and playoffs of Masters Reykjavik.

FunPlus Phoenix, G2 Esports and Fnatic qualified for Masters Reykjavik from EMEA challengers. However, due to the travel restrictions imposed by Iceland, FunPlus Phoenix can not travel to Reykjavik for the championship. Hence, Riot Games had to qualify Team Liquid in the Masters after multiple tries instead of FunPlus Phoenix.
The 12th team will qualify on the basis of the LATAM vs BR playoffs, which will take place on the 2nd of April and played by Ninjas in Pyjamas and Leviatan.
The format of Masters Reykjavik is split into two stages, Group Stage and Playoffs. Eight Low Seed teams will fight in the group stages, divided into two groups. The top four teams from the group stages will advance to the Playoffs, fighting against four top seed teams.
All the matches in the group stages will be played in the best of three format. In Playoffs, all the matches will be played in the best of three format except the Lower Final and Grand Final, which will be played in the best of five format.
VCT 2022 Masters Reykjavik is all set to kick off on the 10th of April. It will be interesting to see which team will manage to win the championship. All the teams have shown promising performance in the qualifier stages. However, this championship will be the ultimate test.
