Team Orangutan Eliminated From VCT Game Changers APAC Open 3

Team Orangutan has been eliminated from VCT Game Changers APAC Open 3. The team lost to Alter Ego Celeste in the Lower Bracket Round 2, eliminating them from the championship.

Although the team showed a tremendous performance throughout the championship, they faced defeat against Alter Ego Celeste with an overall scoreline of AEC 2-1 OG.

Team Orangutan in VCT Game Changers APAC Open 3

Team Orangutan lost against Team SMG in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals with a scoreline of SMG 2-1 OG. This defeat dropped them to the Lower Bracket Round 1.

In Lower Bracket Round 1, Orangutan defeated Aresta with a scoreline of OG 2-0 AR. This win advanced them to Lower Bracket Round 2, where they lost against

Team Orangutan Lower Bracket Round 2 Match Break Down

Alter Ego Celeste banned Icebox and Breeze in the map veto process, whereas Both the teams performed their best in VCT Game Changers APAC Open 3  Lower Bracket Round 2. Alter Ego Celeste banned Icebox and Breeze in the map veto process, whereas Orangutan banned Bind and Split.

In the map selection process, Alter Ego Celeste selected Fracture and Orangutan selected Ascent. The remaining map, Haven, was the third and decider map.

Map 1: Fracture

Alter Ego Celeste showed a fantastic performance in the first half of Fracture, leading to a scoreline of AEC 9-3 OG. Although Orangutan improvised in the second half, they faced defeat with a scoreline of 13-8.

Map 2: Ascent

In the first half of Ascent, Orangutan showed a tremendous performance that led to OG 9-3 AEC switch. However, Alter Ego Celeste made a comeback in the second half, leading to four overtimes. Finally, Team Orangutan won the map at the end with OG 17-15 AEC scoreline.

Map 3: Haven

In the first half of Haven, Alter Ego Celeste secured seven rounds, whereas Orangutan secured five. In the second half, Alter Ego Celeste won six rounds and won the match.

Orangutan Players: Casper (India), Sway (India), Mythica (Pakistan), Kachow (Philippines), and Japips (Philippines).

All the players from Orangutan showed an impressive performance, making their respective countries proud. This is the end of their journey in VCT Game Changers APAC Open 3. However, they will get more chances to prove themselves in the future.
