VCT Masters Copenhagen: Teams, Schedule, and More

The second stage of the Valorant 2022 Esports circuit, VCT Masters Copenhagen, is just around the corner. In addition, Riot has concluded the VCT Stage 2 in all the regions, and all the teams have locked in for Masters 2 Copenhagen.

The venue of VCT Masters Copenhagen is Forum Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark, and all the players are ready for the LAN event. 

VCT Masters Copenhagen Teams

Top 12 teams, across the world from eight different regions, have qualified for the Masters 2 Copenhagen. Moreover, these 12 teams will fight against each other for the ultimate title and cash prize. 

Region Wise Slot Distribution

Europe and the Middle-East (EMEA)

The Europe and the Middle-East (EMEA) region get a total of three slots in the Masters 2 Copenhagen. EMEA gets the highest number of slots, because the size of the region is large, and there are multiple regional leagues in the region to qualify for EMEA. 

Fnatic, FunPlus Phoenix, and Guild Esports will represent the EMEA region in the Masters 2 Copenhagen.

Asia-Pacific (APAC)

The Asia-Pacific (APAC) region gets a total of two slots in the Masters 2 Copenhagen. However, VCT APAC Challengers will also include teams from South Asia and Oceania. 

Paper Rex and Xerxia will represent the APAC region in the Masters 2 Copenhagen.

North America (NA)

The North America (NA) region gets a total of two slots in Masters 2 Copenhagen.

OpTic Gaming and XSET will represent the NA region in the Masters 2 Copenhagen.

Japan (JP) and Korea (KR)

The Japan (JP) and Korea (KR) regions will each get one slot in the Masters 2 Copenhagen.

DRX will represent Korea, whereas Northeption will represent Japan in the Masters 2 Copenhagen.

Brazil (BR) and Latin America (LATAM)

The Brazil (BR) and Latin America (LATAM) regions will collectively get three slots. However, one slot is reserved for the BR region and one for the LATAM region. At last, the runner-ups from both the regions will fight against each other in a BO5 match for the third slot in the Masters 2 Copenhagen.

Leviatán has won the LATAM challengers, and will represent the LATAM region. On the other hand, LOUD has won the Brazil Challengers and will represent the Brazil Region. KRÜ Esports, from the LATAM region, has won the LATAM vs BR Playoffs and will represent the LATAM region in the Masters 2 Copenhagen.

The detailed schedule of the VCT Masters Copenhagen is not out yet. However, we know the event will take place from the 10th to the 24th of July.
