Velocity Gaming beats Global Esports to qualify for VCC.

Velocity Gaming (VLT) qualifies for Valorant Conquerors Championship by beating Global Esports (GE) in India qualifier 1. Moreover, Velocity Gaming has secured themselves a slot in the main event of VCC.

Global Esports reached the finals of VCC India qualifier 1 by beating Enigma Gaming without losing a single map in the semi finals. 

Moreover, VLT also reached the finals of VCC India Qualifier 1 by beating Samurai Esports without losing a single map in the semi finals. 

Velocity Gaming and Global Esports played a best-of-five series and VLT beat GE by 3-1. Nonetheless, they dominated the whole series and qualified for the main VCC event. 

Valorant Conquerors Championship Grand Finals.

By following the veto process, Velocity Gaming and Global Esports selected five maps for the best-of-five series. 

  1. Icebox
  2. Bind
  3. Ascent
  4. Breeze
  5. Split

Map no. 1: Icebox

In the first half of Icebox, Velocity Gaming were on the defending side and they managed to take the advantage by securing seven rounds. Moreover, in the second half, Global Esports secured five more rounds whereas Velocity Gaming managed to secure six rounds. 

Finally, the score for the map was GE 10-13 VLT.

Map no. 2: Bind

In the first half of Bind, Global Esports were on the attacking side and they managed to take the advantage by securing eight rounds. However, in the second half of the Bind, Velocity Gaming did an excellent comeback by securing nine rounds in their favour whereas Global Esports were able to secure two rounds. 

Finally, the score for the map was GE 10-13 VLT.

Map no. 3: Ascent

In the first half of Ascent, Global Esports started on the defending side and they dominated the map by taking the advantage of nine rounds. Moreover, in the second half, Velocity Gaming managed to secure only three rounds in their favour whereas Global Esports secured four rounds and won the map.

Finally, the score for the map was GE 13-6 VLT.

Map no. 4: Breeze

Both the teams played the 4th map very well. In Breeze, both teams managed to get six rounds in both halves. This led the match in overtime. Global Esports managed to secure two rounds in overtime whereas Velocity Gaming secured six rounds overall in the overtime.

Finally, the score for the map was GE 14-16 VLT.

With this win, Velocity Gaming qualified for the Valorant Conquerors Championship main event. However, it’s not the end for Global Esports. Global Esports can try their best to secure a slot in Valorant Conquerors Championship main event by winning in the Wildcard Qualifiers. Besides, Global Esports is a very strong team, and they are capable of beating other teams to get a slot in VCC Main Event.
