World Esports Championships 2022 : ESFI Announces Qualifiers

World Esports Championships 2022 will begin soon. ESFI has opened the National Qualifiers for selecting Team India. 

The National Esports Championships (NESC) 2022 will select players from India for the WE Championships. Once again, a great opportunity for the aspiring athletes has arrived. 

The selected players will get to represent India at the global stage. 

The qualifiers are open for different titles including – DOTA 2, CS:GO, Tekken 7 and eFootball 2022. 

The DOTA 2 team, which qualified for the 2022 Asian Games and includes senior athletes such as Moin Ejaz (captain), Krish, Abhishek, Ketan, and Darshan. They will be part of Team India for the event.

Registration :

To register for the qualifiers, players can join the official discord server of ESFI. ESFI has made Google Forms for each title. Players must fill out the form to participate. 

The forms will be open until 15th June 2022. For participation in qualifiers, a passport is not compulsory. If players are confident about their selection and do not have a passport, then they must apply for it now.

World Esports Championships

The 14th World Esports Championships will be held in Bali, Indonesia. The Global Finals of the WE Championships will be live between 27 Novemeber – 9 December 2022.  

The prize pool for the IESF’s premier event, has increased from $55,000 in 2021 to $500,000 this year. In contrast, it is expected to attract over 120 countries from across the world.

Now that covid is under control, the event will be a successful LAN in Bali. It will be exciting to watch such a prestigious event with a live audience.
