Godlike Esports, a prominent esports organization in India, has been making changes to its Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) lineup in an effort to improve its performance. Despite these changes, the team’s performance in the 2024 BGMI season has not met expectations. In a recent live stream, Suraj Nityanand “Neyoo” Majumdar, a content creator for Godlike Esports, revealed that the organization is planning to sign an assaulter for the upcoming BGMI season.

Neyoo emphasized the importance of gun power in achieving good performances, stating that despite various changes to the team’s lineup and playing styles, the desired results have not been achieved. He announced that Godlike Esports will be signing a new player, described as a “very good assaulter,” after the conclusion of the Skyesports tournament. Neyoo expressed confidence that with the addition of this new player, Godlike Esports will have a strong team of assaulters.

Although Neyoo did not disclose the name of the player, it is noted that most of the top assaulters in the BGMI scene are already signed by other well-known organizations. However, Neyoo’s statement suggests that Godlike Esports has identified a player who is currently available and fits their requirements.

Godlike Esports has undergone significant changes to its BGMI lineup since 2023, including the addition of Gunjan “Jelly” Thakur and Aditya “Aditya” Mathe in November and December 2023, respectively. Nishant “Apollo” was also added before the start of the IQOO India League 2024 LAN and Skyesports Champions Series 2024 tournaments.

Amar “Amar” Chandgude, Co-owner of Godlike Esports, has also discussed the possibility of further changes to the BGMI lineup if the team does not perform well in the Skyesports Champions Series 2024 event. This suggests that Godlike Esports is committed to improving its performance and is willing to make necessary changes to achieve success in the competitive BGMI scene.
