Skyesports, the leading esports tournament organizer in South Asia, has unveiled plans for one of the inaugural major Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) esports tournaments in 2024. The Skyesports League is set to offer a distinctive experience, featuring top esports teams representing various cities across South Asia.

Scheduled to be held as an on-ground event in Mumbai in March 2024, the Skyesports League aims to showcase India’s rich cultural diversity by assembling top-tier teams from 16 different cities. Each city’s team will be backed by a distinct esports organization meticulously chosen by Skyesports based on past performance, contributions to the esports scene, and dedication to producing localized content for the event.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Shiva Nandy, Founder and CEO of Skyesports, remarked, “The Skyesports League will serve as a celebration of India’s diversity, incorporating a regional and localized essence never before witnessed in Indian esports. The Skyesports League 2024 will span multiple days as an on-ground esports event open to live audiences, enabling fans to rally behind their favorite teams, including the hometown heroes, Mumbai Aces.
